Gabe is a water person, either frozen or liquefied. Just add gradient, that’s all it takes; when not paddling or riding, he is thinking about it. Although that takes up a lot of time, he works for Northstar EMS as a WEMT in the northwestern mountains of Maine, where he also works on the Northstar Backcountry Medical Response Team and as a ski patroller. Rounding things out, he spends time as an instructor / guide / medical officer for eNRG Kayaking, an international adventure travel company. Gabe has worked for different outfits on both coasts of the US and has come to find that northern New England has just the right mix of climate and topology to keep him happy.
