Wilderness First Aid (WFA) is the best and most comprehensive course of its kind to offer relevant and realistic first-aid training for seasonal outdoor activities or short term wilderness endeavors and pursuits.

 

 

Wilderness EMT Upgrade is an advanced 5 day training geared toward EMS providers looking to broaden their skills in remote environments. The WEMT curriculum builds on EMS training and expertise to meet the special challenges inherent in delayed access to medical care environments.

Wilderness First Responder (WFR) is the definitive medical training for leaders in remote areas including outdoor educators, guides, outdoor enthusiasts, military, professional search and rescue teams, researchers, and those involved in disaster relief.

The Wilderness First Responder Recertification course is open to graduates of all wilderness medical training courses with a current Wilderness First Responder certification. This action-packed course covers most topics through practical drills, review exercises, and simulations.

 

 

The highest level of training offered. This course is targeted towards advanced medical care practitioners. Physicians, physician assistants, nurse practitioners, nurses and other ALS certified professionals may receive up to 36 hrs of AMA PRA Category I Credit through the Wilderness Medical Society.

 

The Wilderness Herbal First Responder Certification course includes all information covered in the WFR plus an extra herbal medicine component. This action-packed course covers wilderness first aid techniques as well as education to prepare students to successfully rely on plant medicine.
